A delegation of eight researchers from Taiwan, led by Chair Professor Fong-Chin Su, the Director of TTSTC, attended the 21st Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering (JCSSE) in Phuket, Thailand from June 19 to 22, 2024.

Professor Yung-Nien Sun, Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, NCKU and Asst. Prof. Yu-Sheng Lin, The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) and Asst. Prof. Po-Yin Chang, The Department of Maritime Information and Technology (DMIT) at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology also participated in the conference.

JCSSE is a premier conference for presenting and exchanging technological advances and research results in the fields of Computer Science, Software Engineering, and related fields. The conference brings together leading scientists and engineers in computer science and software engineering from around the world.  The Taiwan delegation presented and exchanged research results at the conference, with themes around "AI Applications in Healthcare" and "Digital Health for Improved Quality of Life."

JCSSE 2024

During the conference, the Taiwan delegation also exchanged ideas with scholars from New Southbound countries such as Thailand, Singapore, and Australia to discuss the current status and future prospects of AI healthcare and digital health. The conference was a fruitful one, helping to expand the Taiwan delegation's international cooperation and promote the application of AI healthcare and digital health technologies in various countries.
